Accordingly, in the North, under the impact of weakened cold air mass combined with active east to southeast winds, this area tonight will be cloudy, with fog and light fog.
In the early morning of March 15, in the areas of Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Hung Yen, Ninh Binh and Hanoi capital, there is a possibility of light rain; meanwhile, the northern mountainous region may experience light showers.
By noon and afternoon of the same day, the weather in the North tends to be dry, with the highest temperature of the day at 23 - 25 degrees C, the weather is cool.
In the Central region, the Deputy Head of the Weather Forecast Department said that rain tonight (March 14) will decrease significantly in both scope and rainfall compared to last night, mainly only appearing scattered in some places. By noon and afternoon March 15, the weather will be dry, with intermittent sunshine. The temperature on March 15 in the North Central provinces is commonly from 24 - 25 degrees C, while the Central Central region is 25 - 28 degrees C.
For the South Central Coast region, on March 15, the whole area will be dry. The highest temperature in the North of this area is about 25 - 27 degrees C, and in the South from 28 - 31 degrees C.
Meanwhile, in the Central Highlands and the South, the weather on election day is generally dry, sunny from early morning. The highest temperature during the day in the Central Highlands is from 28 - 31 degrees C; in the South from 32 - 34 degrees C, especially in the Southeast region, there are places above 34 degrees C.
According to Mr. Thanh, in general, the weather across the country on election day is assessed to be relatively favorable.
