On March 14, according to Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, the Nhon Trach inter-port road construction project has been handed over 36 hectares out of a total of more than 51 hectares of land for deployment, reaching about 70%.
According to the plan, the above road is more than 15 km long, the starting point of the route connects to the boundary of Ong Keo Industrial Park and the ending point of the route connects to the road to Viet Thuan Thanh port.
The Nhon Trach inter-port road construction project phase 1 has a total investment of more than 2,600 billion VND in Dai Phuoc commune, Dong Nai province.
In phase 1, the project deploys the construction of a section of more than 8.8 km (section 1 is 6.9 km long with 8 lanes and section 2 is 1.9 km long with 4 lanes).
In addition to the road section, the project also invests in building 5 bridges on the route.
The project aims to connect the port system according to the plan, improve exploitation capacity, and at the same time promote the development of transport infrastructure, form new residential areas, attract investment in industrial parks, contributing to the development of Nhon Trach urban area and Dong Nai province; Opening up opportunities for modern riverside urban development associated with the goal of green and smart development.
In particular, the route will take advantage of the advantage when Long Thanh airport is put into operation, forming a port - logistics - industrial park - riverside urban linkage chain.
Up to now, the construction unit has carried out sand pumping to treat the 650m long roadbed and excavated unsuitable soil layers to spread earthenware, pumping sand for the next section about 300m long.
