The meteorological agency warns that thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

In the Northern region in the evening and night of July 15, the mountainous areas will have scattered showers and thunderstorms. On July 16-17, the North is likely to have widespread hot weather. From the night of July 17 to 22, the North will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some places having heavy rain.
The area from Thanh Hoa to Hue and the South Central Coast will have localized heat waves; from about July 16 to 18, there is a possibility of widespread heat waves.
The Central and Southern Highlands have scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, with some places having heavy rain.
