Weather forecast for the next 24 to 48 hours
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting predicts that the weather in the North and North Central regions will not fluctuate significantly in the next 2 days.

The Northern region and the area from Thanh Hoa to Quang Tri will have rain in some places, fog and scattered light fog in the early morning, sunny in the afternoon. Cold at night and morning, some mountainous areas in the North are very cold.
Hue city and the South Central Coast region will have scattered rain, showers and thunderstorms; from the afternoon of December 9, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain, locally very heavy rain and thunderstorms.
Other areas will have scattered showers and thunderstorms; the Central and Southern highlands will have scattered showers and thunderstorms from the evening of December 9, with some places having heavy rain.
The meteorological agency warns that thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
Weather trend forecast from the night of December 10 to December 18
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has made a statement on notable weather trends in some areas from the night of December 10 to December 18.

The Northern region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms on December 11-12; on December 13, there is a possibility of scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some places having heavy rain. From the night of December 10 to December 12, the night and morning will be cold, with some mountainous areas experiencing severe cold. From around December 13 it will be cold, especially during the day and night of December 13, mountainous and midland areas are likely to experience severe cold, some places are severely cold.
The North Central region from about December 11 to 13 will have rain, showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain. From the night of December 10 to December 12, the morning and night will be cold; from around December 13, the weather will be cold.
Quang Tri area, Hue city and the South Central Coast have scattered rain, showers and thunderstorms; from December 13 to 15, there is a possibility of widespread heavy rain.
The Central Highlands from the night of December 10 to 11 and December 13 to 14 will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some places having heavy rain.
The Southern region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms; especially from the night of December 10 to 14, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain.
