The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has updated the weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow (June 17) in regions across the country.
The mountainous and midland areas of the Northern region have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, with locally very heavy rain. Rain concentrates from late afternoon to morning.
The area from Nghe An to Da Nang city and the east of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak will be hot, with intense heat in some places with the highest common temperature of 35-37 degrees C, in some places above 38 degrees C.
The Central Highlands and Southern regions will have scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening, with locally heavy rain.
