The weather in the North and North Central regions will turn cold, with some mountainous areas experiencing severe cold. The lowest temperature in this cold air mass in the North is about 15 - 18 degrees Celsius, in high mountainous areas it is below 13 degrees Celsius; in the North Central region it is about 17 - 19 degrees Celsius.
The Hanoi area is cold with the lowest temperature around 16 - 18 degrees Celsius.
Regarding other notable situations, from the night of March 28, the mountainous areas of the North and North Central regions will have scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places. It is necessary to be on guard against the risk of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.
At sea, from the afternoon of March 28, the Gulf of Tonkin wind will shift to northeast level 6, gusting to level 7 - 8, rough seas, waves 2 - 3m high.
The northern sea area of the North East Sea will have strong northeast winds of level 6 - 7, gusting to level 8, rough seas, waves 3 - 5m high.
The meteorological agency warns that rough seas can endanger the operation of ships. Fishermen should limit going out to sea when there are strong wind warnings and regularly update information continuously to avoid risks.
