On the evening of June 11, Mr. Luu Van Phuong - Vice Chairman of Da Teh Commune People's Committee (Lam Dong) - said that the locality is mobilizing forces to urgently support people to overcome the consequences of the tornado that occurred in the area.

Police forces, militia and youth union members were mobilized to support people to re-roof houses, collect property, arrange household items, helping households soon stabilize their lives.
At the same time, the locality also focuses on statistics of damage, proposing measures to support people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

Previously, on the evening of June 9, heavy rain accompanied by tornadoes occurred on a large scale in Da Teh commune. Natural disasters blew off the roofs of 13 houses in Thuan Loc, Huong Thuan and Phu Binh villages, of which 4 houses had their roofs completely blown off.
In addition to housing damage, tornadoes also caused about 3 hectares of durian of people to break branches, fall and fruit drop to varying degrees.

According to initial statistics, the total damage to houses and crops caused by the tornado is estimated at more than 990 million VND.
Immediately after the natural disaster occurred, the Da Teh Commune People's Committee directed agencies, units and armed forces in the area to implement measures to overcome the consequences, support people to repair houses, clear fallen trees and ensure traffic safety.

By the end of June 11, the locality had basically completed supporting households to re-roof their houses, sanitize the environment, overcome affected points and stabilize people's lives.
Previously, on June 5, a tornado with heavy rain also occurred in Da Huoai 2 commune (Lam Dong), causing more than 50 tons of durian to fall to the ground, dozens of trees to be uprooted from nearly 30 households, causing damage of about 3 billion VND.
