According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at noon today (March 28), there will be localized heat in the Northwest region.
On March 30, in the Northwest region and from Thanh Hoa to Hue City, there will be hot sun, in some places intense hot sun with the highest temperature commonly 35 - 36 degrees C, in some places above 37 degrees C. The hottest time is about 13 - 16 hours.
The Northern Delta region has localized hot weather with the highest temperature above 35 degrees C; the relative lowest humidity is commonly 55 - 60%.
On the 31st, widespread hot weather will continue to occur in the Northwest region, from Thanh Hoa to Hue city and is likely to expand to the Northern Delta region. From the 1st, hot weather is likely to gradually subside in the areas.
The meteorological agency warns that the level of natural disaster risk due to hot weather is level 1. Due to the impact of hot weather combined with low humidity in the air, there is a risk of fires and explosions in residential areas due to increased electricity demand. In addition, hot weather can also cause dehydration for the human body when exposed to high temperatures for a long time.
Note that the forecast temperature in hot weather bulletins and the actual perceived temperature outside can differ from 2 - 4 degrees Celsius, or even higher depending on the condition of the buffer surface such as concrete and asphalt roads.
