Hanoi area

Northern Region
From January 5 to 7, the North will have sunny days and no rain at night. Early mornings will have scattered fog and light fog. Mornings and nights will be cold.
From January 8 to 10, the North will have rain in some places. It will be cold, with some mountainous areas experiencing severe cold.
Water levels on rivers in the Northern region change slowly at low levels.
Central Region
North Central region from January 5 to 7, forecast sunny days, no rain at night, early morning fog and scattered light fog, cold morning and night; from January 8 to 10, rain in some places. Cold weather.
The Central Central region has rain in some places; cold in the morning and at night. From about 9 - 10.1 there will be rain, scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places; cold.
The South Central region has scattered showers and thunderstorms. Thunderstorms are likely to produce tornadoes and strong gusts of wind.

Central Highlands and Southern Region
From January 5 to 10, the Central Highlands and the South are forecast to have showers and thunderstorms in some places.

Oceanographic situation assessment
From January 5 to 6, in the East Sea area (including Hoang Sa archipelago and Truong Sa), wave heights ranged from 4 to 6 meters; in the area from Quang Tri to Binh Thuan, wave heights were commonly 3 to 5 meters, with rough seas.
From January 7, wave heights tend to decrease gradually in sea areas. In areas outside the East Sea and southern sea areas, wave heights decrease slightly but remain high.
The meteorological agency predicts that next week, there is little chance of a tropical cyclone.
