On the night of December 20 and December 21, the North East Sea area (including the Hoang Sa archipelago), from Binh Dinh to Ca Mau, between the East Sea and the western sea area of the South East Sea area (including the western Truong Sa archipelago) will have strong winds of level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8 - 9. The sea will be rough, with waves 3 - 5m high.

The meteorological agency warned that the level of disaster risk due to strong winds at sea is level 2.
All vessels operating in the above areas are at high risk of being affected by cyclones, strong winds and large waves.
