On May 3, information from the Nghe An Department of Health said that at about 6 pm on May 2, in the Quynh sea area (ancient Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province), CKII doctor Ho Khac Thuy - Deputy Director of Quynh Luu General Hospital - discovered a child about 10-12 years old unconscious, with cardiac arrest after being electrocuted.
Faced with the emergency situation, amidst the panic of relatives and those around, Dr. Thuy quickly approached and performed continuous chest compressions. Thanks to timely and proper first aid, in just a few minutes, the baby showed signs of recovery and passed the critical condition.
Sharing after the incident, Dr. Thuy said: "This is a normal professional reflex, in that situation, any medical staff will give the highest priority to saving people.
The incident once again shows the important role of first aid skills, especially chest compressions in circulatory arrest situations. At the same time, the action of the doctor also contributes to spreading the image of a dedicated doctor, ready to save people in all circumstances.
