On the afternoon of December 14, at the People's Committee of A Luoi 5 commune (Hue city), the Border Guard Command (BDBP) of Hue city coordinated with accompanying units to organize a gift-giving ceremony to support people in border areas affected by floods and in difficult circumstances.
At the program, leaders of the Hue City Border Guard Command kindly visited and shared the damage and losses that local people are suffering due to natural disasters; at the same time, encouraged people to strive to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee presented 260 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to disadvantaged households in A Luoi 5 commune. In addition, the program also donated 20 million VND to the "Adopted Children of Border Guard Station" Fund to Huong Nguyen Border Guard Station. The total value of gifts and support reached 150 million VND.
This is a meaningful activity, demonstrating the concern and responsibility of officers and soldiers of the Hue City Border Guard and accompanying units towards the people in the border area; thereby contributing to helping people overcome the consequences of natural disasters, consolidating the solidarity between the army and the people, spreading the image of Border Guard soldiers in the hearts of the people.
