Dak Lak - The authorities strive to complete the construction of houses for people affected by storms and floods before the Lunar New Year 2026.

On November 27, Dak Lak Provincial Police informed that the Ministry of Public Security had coordinated with Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee to organize a groundbreaking ceremony for housing construction for households in Xuan Lanh commune affected by storm No. 13 and the recent floods.

Attending the ceremony were Major General Nguyen Hong Nguyen - Deputy Chief of the Ministry Office, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Civil Defense Command of the Ministry of Public Security, and leaders of a number of professional departments.

Following the direction of General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member, Minister of Public Security - Ministry of Public Security, coordinated with Dak Lak province to survey and build houses for households affected by storms and floods.

According to research, for the number of houses built for people, the authorities are reviewing and making detailed statistics. Because after storm No. 13 and floods in mid-November, many people in the area were affected. Thereby, no difficult cases that need support are left out.

This time, 16 houses will be built for households, each house worth 110 million VND. Of which, the Ministry of Public Security supported 50 million VND, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee supported 60 million VND.

This is the most practical action, responding to the third emulation movement: "Most disciplined - Most loyal - Most proactive" in the entire People's Public Security force; at the same time, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, responsibility and the tradition of "mutual love and support" of the Public Security force and the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee and Government.

The Ministry of Public Security assigned Dak Lak Provincial Police to coordinate with local authorities to speed up the construction progress, strive to complete and hand over the houses before December 31, 2025 so that households can celebrate New Year's Day and Lunar New Year in 2026 in their new houses.

Major General Nguyen Hong Nguyen hopes that this timely support will help people in disaster areas have solid housing and soon stabilize their lives.

On this occasion, the working delegation of the Ministry of Public Security presented gifts from Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang to households in Xuan Lanh commune; at the same time, presented the people of Dak Lak province with 80 tons of rice and essential necessities to contribute to overcoming the consequences of floods.
