In recent days, a clip of about 30 seconds long recorded the scene of two security police officers on patrol duty on the road when they suddenly stopped, continuously looking back. Immediately afterwards, an old man drove a motorbike carrying a child about 3-4 years old to run over.
Observing that the child sitting behind the car was sleeping, the person was lost to one side, while the old man could only use one hand to control the car, the other hand had to hold the child, the two soldiers quickly stopped the car and signaled the old man to get to the side of the road.
Major Tran Quy Hoi - the leader of the patrol team in the clip, confirmed that he and Senior Lieutenant Doan Minh Tuyen were the two people who stopped the car to take the child home.
According to Major Hoi, this situation was extremely dangerous, the child could fall out of the car at any time. Recognizing the risk, the two soldiers proactively offered help by putting the child on a patrol vehicle to ensure safety on the remaining distance.
After being analyzed and warned by the police about the danger, the old man agreed to let the soldiers take the child home. Security camera footage shows the old man driving a car in front of the road, while the two soldiers carry the child onto a patrol vehicle and carry him behind.
According to Major Hoi, the incident occurred at around 5:00 p.m. on February 15, on Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Dong Hoi City. When they arrived at the alley of the child's house, the people in the neighborhood saw the police bringing the child back and ran out to see if something had happened. After handing over the child safely to the old man, the two soldiers continued to go on duty without having time to ask for his name or leave information.
Immediately after the clip was shared on social networks, many people expressed their emotions and praised the timely and humane actions of the two soldiers.
