Can Tho - The "zero-dong bread" stalls every morning at the beginning of the week in An Thanh commune not only help students feel full, but also contribute to legal education right from the grassroots level.

In the midst of daily work, officers and soldiers of An Thanh Commune Police (Can Tho City) still maintain the "0-dong bread - Sending trust" model, regularly giving free bread to students every morning at the beginning of the week.

At about 4 am, when many families had not yet woken up, the headquarters of An Thanh Commune Police had lights on. Officers and soldiers began preparing each loaf of bread in the kitchen. To be on time for students' classes, the loaves of bread were completed early. Hundreds of loaves of bread were handed directly to the children right in front of the school gate.

Not only stopping at supporting meals, the model is also associated with legal propaganda activities. Along with bread, students receive compact materials, content about traffic safety, skills to prevent social evils and self-protection.

In the schoolyard, police officers directly exchange with students in the form of Q&A, short games, and fun quizzes. The simple and easy-to-understand way of communicating helps students access knowledge naturally.

After a period of implementation, the model received consensus from the school and parents. Many students expressed their joy at receiving cakes every week. Parents also appreciated the fact that their children were both supported with breakfast and reminded about their awareness of law compliance.

Vo Diem Thanh (9th grade student) excitedly shared that the propaganda session was lively and meaningful, helping students absorb more knowledge about school violence, prevent the harmful effects of banned substances, stay away from social evils; and at the same time know how to propagate more widely to relatives and friends.

“We are very grateful to the aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters officers and soldiers who came to the school to propagate and carefully prepare delicious bread rolls. From these meaningful things, we feel loved, cared for and protected. I promise to strive to study and train really well to be worthy of the love and expectations of aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters,” Diem Thanh excitedly said.

Lieutenant Huynh Thi Ngoc Tram - officer of the Crime Prevention and Control Team of An Thanh Commune Police - said that when assigned to propagate about school violence and drug prevention and control, she always chooses an approach suitable for each student age group.

To help students understand the law more deeply, Lieutenant Ngoc Tram recounted familiar stories and situations every day. From there, analyze the causes, harms, and then integrate legal regulations for them to easily understand and remember. In each propaganda session, students are placed in specific situations to come up with their own solutions. Small gifts are also prepared to encourage them to participate in answering questions.

When the children boldly raise their hands, exchange and express their views, I believe that I have partly sown a sense of law compliance for them," Lieutenant Ngoc Tram shared.

The image of young officials directly propagating, listening to and grasping the thoughts and aspirations of the people is proof of the spirit of "Most Disciplined - Most Loyal - Closest to the People", the core contents in the "Three Firsts" movement are being implemented by the force.
