On March 8, Can Tho City Police said that to practically celebrate the 116th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2026) and the 1986th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising, Cai Rang Ward Police organized the presentation of 80 gifts, each gift 10kg of rice with a total budget of more than 16 million VND, to elderly, weak, sick, and disadvantaged women in the ward.

The activity has profound humanistic meaning, contributing to spreading the spirit of sharing, and at the same time clearly expressing the content "Closest to the people" in the "Three Bests" emulation movement of the grassroots police force.
Although the value is not large, each gift shows the concern and sharing of the grassroots police force for women in difficult circumstances. The activity contributes to supporting people in life, and at the same time encourages families to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

Over the past time, Cai Rang Ward Police have implemented many practical activities to improve the quality of service to the people, in which attention is paid to strengthening the attachment and closeness with the people through support and social security activities in the area.
In addition to the task of ensuring security and order, the Ward Police force also actively participates in social security activities, supporting elderly people living alone, vulnerable women, children in special circumstances and households in difficult circumstances in the area.
The gift-giving activity on March 8th not only contributes to supporting women in difficult circumstances but also shows the concern and attachment of the grassroots police force to the people in the area.
