According to the Ministry of Public Security's Electronic Information Portal, in recent days, due to the impact of prolonged heavy rain, localized flooding has occurred in Xuan Luong commune (Bac Ninh province), many roads and spillways have been cut off, affecting people's travel and daily life. In particular, Xuan Luong Kindergarten area is deeply flooded, many facilities and equipment are damaged, affecting teaching and learning activities.
Faced with the above situation, officers and soldiers of Xuan Luong Commune Police urgently went to the area, coordinated with forces to support people to overcome the consequences after the rain and flood. Police forces mobilized vehicles and machinery to move trees, clear blocked spillway points, ensure safety for people to travel; directly clear mud and soil, and support people to move property.
At the same time, coordinate with the Youth Union and teachers of Xuan Luong Kindergarten to clean classrooms, arrange tables, chairs, and school supplies so that children can return to normal schooling soon.
Not only supporting people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, the grassroots police force also directly accompanies people in labor and production.
Faced with the risk of many melon areas being affected by prolonged heavy rain, on May 20, Cao Duc Commune Police mobilized officials and union members to go to the fields to support people in harvesting and transporting agricultural products to limit damage.

Not only supporting people's lives, on the evening of May 21, during patrols to ensure security and order in the area, officers of Cao Duc Commune Police discovered Ms. Nguyen Thi Trong (born 1951, residing in Nguyen Khe village, Cam Giang commune, Hai Phong city) in a state of fatigue, not remembering the way home clearly.
Through verification, Ms. Trong lived with her children and grandchildren, but because she did not want to bother relatives, she went by bicycle to Luong Tai Hospital for examination. After that, due to old age and memory loss, she mistakenly took someone else's bicycle to go home. In the dark, not knowing the way, she got lost in Cao Duc commune, nearly 40 km from home.
Immediately after discovering the incident, Cao Duc Commune Police took the old woman to the headquarters to take care of and encourage her, and quickly verified the information and contacted the family. After that, the police force handed over the old woman safely to her relatives in stable health.
