Hung Yen - According to the Provincial Police, on February 21, Hung Ha Commune Police promptly discovered and supported two stray children to return safely to their families.

On February 24, according to information from Hung Yen Provincial Police, on the evening of February 21, 2026 (ie, the 6th day of the first lunar month), during the performance of patrol and control duties in the area, Hung Ha Commune Police force discovered two young children showing signs of straying, without relatives accompanying them.

The two children were identified as Phan Chien Thang (born in 2017) and Phan Anh Duong (born in 2019). Immediately after discovering the incident, commune police officers took the children to the headquarters to ensure safety, and at the same time kindly inquired, reassured psychologically, and took care of the children while waiting for information verification.

Using professional measures and information provided by the children, the Hung Ha Commune Police force urgently conducted verification and contacted the families. In just a short time, the family address of the two children was determined to be in Dong Xuan village, Long Hung commune. The Commune Police organized to bring the two children back to reunite safely with their relatives.

Receiving the children back in good health, grandmother Tran Thi Oanh (born in 1958) emotionally sent deep thanks to officers and soldiers of Hung Ha Commune Police for their dedication, responsibility and affection in the process of supporting the family.

Through the incident, Hung Ha Commune Police also recommends that parents need to strengthen management, care, and remind young children not to go far without adults accompanying them; guide children to remember family information and relatives' phone numbers to contact them promptly when necessary. When discovering stray children, people need to quickly notify the Police or local authorities for timely support.
