On January 5, Cam Lo Commune Police (Quang Tri Provincial Police) said that they had promptly found and handed over all assets to Mr. Bounna Phanthavilay (born in 1986, residing in Vientiane, Laos) who had lost them while traveling along National Highway 9.
Previously, at about 6 pm on January 2, Cam Lo Commune Police received a report from Mr. Bounna Phanthavilay about dropping cash, personal belongings and personal papers. Immediately after receiving the information, the Commune Police force urgently reviewed the related locations, compared information and contacted facilities along the route.
Only after more than 1 hour of verification, at about 7 pm, Cam Lo Commune Police found all the lost property, with a total estimated value of about 86 million VND, and proceeded to hand it over to tourists in accordance with regulations.
The responsible and dedicated actions of officers and soldiers of Cam Lo Commune Police not only help tourists feel secure to continue their journey, but also contribute to spreading the image of a safe and friendly locality, affirming the effectiveness of the "Ba Nhat" emulation movement in grassroots work practice.
