Recently, Van Dung posted a poem on her personal page about the Tao Quan program. In it, the female comedian revealed that this year there will be no program broadcast on New Year's Eve as every year.
Van Dung's poem has a passage: "20 years of performing Tao Quan. The program is like a part of me. This year I can't compete. There is no Tao Quan, so I am very sad...". Along with that, Van Dung also shared pictures with People's Artist Tu Long, Quang Thang in Tao Quan costumes.

In the poem, Van Dung also said that she is very sad because this year she cannot participate in the Tao Quan program. However, the female artist believes that this New Year's Eve, television stations will launch many other good programs to serve the audience.
Previously, the online community was buzzing with news that this year the Tao Quan program would not be produced. Because usually, from the end of December of the Gregorian calendar, the Tao Quan - Year-End Meeting program produced by VTV assigned to the Vietnam Television Film Center (VFC) has completed the script, started gathering artists and entered the stage of practice for the filming session close to the Lunar New Year.
However, this year, although it has entered January, there is no information from the production crew or the cast of artists participating in the program.
Not long ago, NSND Quoc Khanh also confirmed that he would not participate in Tao Quan because of his own schedule. This makes the audience even more confused because the male artist has never left the Jade Emperor's seat in Tao Quan seasons for more than 20 years.
Director Khai Anh - one of the main directors in charge of Tao Quan - also left VTV from the beginning of 2025.
The information that Tao Quan 2026 will not be produced surprised many people. Below Van Dung's post, many viewers expressed regret when having to say goodbye to the program that has been deeply ingrained in the memories of many Vietnamese people every New Year's Eve.
