Lam Dong police help 2 people get back valuable assets

Lam Dong - Lang Biang Ward Police - Da Lat has just supported 2 people to receive their property back, including the mistakenly transferred money and a lost wallet.

On March 14, Lang Biang Ward Police - Da Lat (Lam Dong province) said that in the past week, the unit has supported people to return property in two cases related to mistaken transfers and picking up lost items.

Previously, the unit received a report from Mr. Chau Thanh Bao Hung (residing in Lang Biang ward - Da Lat) about his personal account suddenly receiving 100 million VND but the sender was unknown.

After receiving information, the police deployed professional measures, coordinated with relevant units to verify the legal owner of the money.

Through verification, functional agencies identified the wrong transferor as Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Nhan (residing in Ho Chi Minh City). Lang Biang Ward Police coordinated with Agribank Bank Lac Duong branch and Mr. Hung to complete the procedures and return the money to Ms. Nhan.

In another case, Lang Biang Ward Police received a wallet picked up by Mr. Tran Xuan Thu - a tourist - at the Puppy Farm Tourist Area, and brought it to hand over.

Through inspection, inside the lost wallet were 6.5 million VND in cash and many papers in the name of Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Nhung (residing in Ho Chi Minh City). After verification, the police force contacted and returned all assets to Ms. Nhung.

The above actions contribute to spreading the sense of responsibility of the police force and the awareness of preserving property of people and tourists when coming to the locality.
