On March 13, Mui Ne Ward Police said that the unit had just returned property to Mr. Dovydas Sklinskas - a foreign tourist staying in the area.
According to the police agency, previously a resident while moving on Nguyen Dinh Chieu street (Mui Ne ward) picked up a stack of money dropped by someone.
Checking inside, this person discovered 55 Vietnamese banknotes and 14 US dollar bills, with a total value of nearly 30 million VND.
After that, the person who picked it up brought the entire amount of money to Mui Ne Ward Police to hand over, asking them to find the person who dropped it to return it.
By professional measures, the police force identified the owner of the above money as Mr. Dovydas Sklinskas. After completing the necessary procedures, the money was returned to the tourist.
Receiving the lost money back, Mr. Dovydas Sklinskas expressed his joy and emotion and thanked the police force for their dedicated support in finding the property.
