On July 9, information from Dien Bien Provincial Police, recently, Na Tau Commune Police have verified and supported the return of more than 82 million VND of mistaken transfers to people in Dong Thap province, contributing to spreading the beautiful image of the People's Police force in serving the people.
Accordingly, on July 6, the unit received a report from Ms. Luong Thi Dieu (born in 1980, residing in Cang village, Na Tau commune, Dien Bien province) about her MB Bank account suddenly receiving an amount of 82.29 million VND from a strange account.
After receiving the information, the leaders of Na Tau Commune Police directed officers to coordinate with the bank to verify the source of the money.
Through review, functional forces identified the person who mistakenly transferred money as Mr. Truong Minh Tri (born 1986, residing in Tan Khanh Trung commune, Dong Thap province).
After clarifying the information, Na Tau Commune Police proactively contacted Mr. Truong Minh Tri, guided the necessary procedures, and coordinated with Ms. Luong Thi Dieu to carry out the refund of the mistakenly transferred money.
By July 8, the entire amount of 82.29 million VND had been fully returned to Mr. Truong Minh Tri.
Receiving the money back, Mr. Truong Minh Tri expressed his emotion and sent his thanks to the Board of Directors of Dien Bien Provincial Police, leaders of Na Tau Commune Police, and officials directly involved in verifying with Ms. Luong Thi Dieu for their sense of responsibility and dedicated support in the process of handling the case.
