An Giang - Anh Tu came to the headquarters of Hoi An Commune Police to report the incident and ask for help from the police force to find the lost property.

On February 26, Hoi An Commune Police, An Giang province, said that the unit had supported verification and organized the return of assets including: money, gold, ATM cards and important papers to a resident who unfortunately dropped them in the area.

Previously, at about 7 pm on February 24, 2026, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tu (born 1992, residing in Dong Thap province) drove a motorbike from his rented house in Hoi An commune to An Hoa Ferry Terminal. During the movement, Mr. Tu discovered that he had dropped a black bag containing more than 20 million VND in cash, 2 18k gold bracelets, 1 18k gold necklace, 2 18k gold rings, 1 citizen identification card and 2 bank cards (ATMs) in the name of Nguyen Thanh Tu.

At this time, Mr. Tu returned to the section of road he had passed to search but did not find any property. At 7:30 pm, Mr. Tu went to the headquarters of Hoi An Commune Police to report the incident and asked for the help of the police force to find the lost property.

Upon receiving information, Hoi An Commune Police quickly deployed professional measures to verify, organize searches, and review the entire area suspected of Mr. Tu dropping property.

During the search, the commune police force discovered that Mr. Nguyen Van Dinh (born 1978, residing in Hoi An commune) was the person who picked up the bag mentioned above. Mr. Dinh proactively asked the police force to help find the person who dropped the property. Through information comparison and actual verification, the commune police determined that this was Mr. Tu's bag.

After that, Hoi An Commune Police carried out procedures according to regulations and organized the return of all assets to Mr. Tu. Receiving the assets back, Mr. Tu thanked the police force for their dedication and responsibility in helping people.
