The force maintains receiving dossiers and issuing citizen identification cards (CCCD) to people in accordance with regulations.
Maintaining the operation of receiving and resolving administrative procedures during Tet shows the spirit of responsibility and serving the people of the Provincial Police force. Thereby contributing to ensuring the legitimate rights of people and businesses, while limiting the situation of backlog of dossiers after the long holidays.
At the same time, in order to ensure traffic order and safety, control and reduce traffic accidents during Tet - a time when people's travel, spring celebration, and alcohol consumption demand increase, from 10 am on February 17 (ie, the 1st day of Binh Ngo Tet), functional forces of An Giang Provincial Police simultaneously launched a general inspection and handled violations of alcohol concentration throughout the province.
This peak period is implemented drastically and synchronously with the participation of functional forces, focusing on inspection on key traffic routes, densely populated areas, areas organizing festivals and Tet holidays. With the spirit of "no forbidden zones, no exceptions", the task force resolutely strictly handles violations in accordance with the law. In addition to handling alcohol concentration violations, functional forces also focus on handling acts that are direct causes of traffic accidents such as: driving vehicles when there are drugs in the body, speeding, driving in the wrong lane, lane, improper overtaking... Thereby contributing to raising the awareness of law compliance of traffic participants, building a safe traffic culture in the community.
