Quang Tri - Picking up money on the way home from work, a female specialist proactively went to the police agency to hand it over to find the person who dropped it.

On June 30, information from Lia Commune Police (Quang Tri province) said that the unit had carried out verification procedures and organized the full return of the money picked up by the people to the owner.

Previously, at about 2:20 pm on June 26, on her way home from work through the section belonging to Thuan 2 village (Liea commune), Ms. Tran Thi Suong (born in 1994, specialist of the Office of the People's Council and People's Committee of Liea commune) picked up more than 4.5 million VND. Immediately after that, Ms. Suong took the initiative to go to the Liea Commune Police headquarters to report the incident and hand over the entire amount of money, asking functional forces to support the search for the lost person.

After receiving the property, Lia Commune Police posted a notice on social networks and took verification measures. Through review, the police force identified the legal owner of the money as Ms. Nguyen Thi Duyen (born in 1996, residing in Dong Tam village, A Doi commune, Quang Tri province).

Ms. Duyen said that she had dropped the money while returning from the market. That was a large amount of money for her, and she thought it would be difficult to find it back, so when the Lia Commune Police informed her, she was very surprised.

Receiving the money back, Ms. Duyen expressed her emotion and sent thanks to Ms. Tran Thi Suong and Lia Commune Police officers for their dedicated support.
