On the afternoon of May 10, Phu Thuy Ward Police, Lam Dong province said that they had supported the return of property to people who dropped it in the area.
Previously, in the afternoon of the same day, Le Thi Trang Nhu and Nguyen Ngoc Yen Vy, 12th grade students of Phan Boi Chau High School, on their way to school, picked up a wallet by the roadside.
Through inspection, inside the wallet there was a lot of cash and important personal papers. The 2 female students brought the wallet to Phu Thuy Ward Police to report and asked the functional forces to find the person who dropped it to return it.
Upon receiving the information, the on-duty police of Phu Thuy Ward proceeded to verify the owner of the wallet. Through checking documents and related information, functional forces identified the property owner as Mr. L.X. T. D (resident of Bac Binh commune).
After contacting, the ward police invited Mr. D to the headquarters to complete procedures to receive the property back. After comparing the information, Phu Thuy Ward Police handed over all the property to the owner.
Receiving back the lost wallet, Mr. D expressed his gratitude for the responsibility of the police force and the honesty and beautiful actions of the 2 12th grade female students.
