According to information from Can Tho Central General Hospital, the hospital successfully organized the 8th Sharing Love Cultural Exchange program, which took place on the evening of January 17. This is an annual program to raise funds to support patients in difficult circumstances receiving treatment at the hospital.
The hospital's board of directors shared that every year, when the Lunar New Year is approaching and the colors of spring are everywhere, there are still many patients at the hospital who cannot return home to reunite with their families. They stay at the hospital to celebrate the new year with the medical staff, many of whom are in difficult circumstances.
Sympathy and sharing, taking encouragement as strength are what the medical team of Can Tho Central General Hospital has been, is and will continue to do to spread love to patients in the Mekong Delta region.
This year's program is accompanied by artists such as: People's Artist Trong Huu, Meritorious Artist Hoang Khanh, singer Thanh Nha, artist Truc Mai, artist Kim Thuong, artist Ngoc Lanh, Tay Do Model Group, etc. to help encourage the patients' spirit.
In particular, the participation of more than 50 singers and actors who are medical staff of Can Tho Central General Hospital, with special performances, is a spiritual medicine to help patients overcome their illness.
The program attracted support from agencies, units and individuals, with a total amount of 489 million VND for the Fund to support disadvantaged patients of Can Tho Central General Hospital.
The 8th Sharing Love Cultural Exchange Program is an opportunity for Can Tho Central General Hospital to meet and thank the donors who have accompanied the hospital to support patients throughout the past year.
In 2024, with the support of benefactors, Can Tho Central General Hospital supported 1,455 cases of patients in difficult circumstances with a total amount of 6.3 billion VND.
