Bui Thi Ngoc Quynh, a student at People's Security University - in charge of the English teaching group shared: "Every summer we spend time doing volunteer activities and this time we have the opportunity to experience in Dak To Re commune. At first, we were a bit worried because we didn't know how to teach the children to understand the lesson, especially in English."
At Ka Pa Ko Long Primary School (Dak To Re commune), the class is small with about 20 students aged 6 - 14 years old. Despite difficulties in communication, ethnic minority students still listen attentively to lectures and actively participate in useful knowledge games in class.
“Even though we don't understand the children's mother tongue, we are lucky to receive great help from older students. This is a bridge to help us fully convey the desired knowledge," Quynh expressed.
