HUE - On the morning of September 29, armed forces in Hue City simultaneously launched a campaign to support people to overcome the consequences of storm No. 10 Bualoi.

Vinh Hien Border Guard Station mobilized 10 officers and soldiers to coordinate with the military forces of Vinh Loc commune to organize the sawing of fallen pine trees on inter-village roads and re-roof the broken tiled roofs for the family of Ms. Tran Thi Thoi (Giang Che village, Vinh Loc commune).

In Phong Quang ward, Phong Hai Border Guard Station sent 10 officers and soldiers to coordinate with the Ward Military Command to support people in cleaning up the residential road in Vinh Tu residential group.

At the same time, 15 officers and soldiers of the Thuan An Port Border Guard Station coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to mobilize 3 fishing boats and fishermen in the Unity Boat Team in Phu Thuan Fishing Port (An Duong 2 residential group) to participate in rescuing and salvaging the fishing boat TTH 96454 TS of Mr. Nguyen Van Tan that sank due to the storm.

Previously, at around 2:30 p.m. on September 28, fishing boat Nguyen Van Tan (born in 1972, residing in Xuan An residential group, Thuan An ward) while anchored to avoid storm No. 10 was hit by strong waves and strong winds against the bridge piers, breaking the anchor ropes and sinking. The incident did not cause any damage to people, and property is estimated at about 500 million VND.
