On July 26, Road Traffic Police Team No. 7 (CSGT) - Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police returned the lost computer to its owner after receiving the property picked up and handed over by people.
Previously, on July 15, Major Vu Dinh Thanh - officer of Road Traffic Police Team No. 7 was assigned to perform duties at the To Huu - Vu Trong Khanh intersection when a woman stopped her car and announced that she had just picked up a bag on the road. However, she did not know who the owner was, so she brought it to hand over to the Traffic Police force.
Receiving the property, Major Vu Dinh Thanh checked and determined that inside the bag was a laptop computer of Lenovo ThinkBook brand. Immediately after that, the incident was reported to the Team Command to organize verification and find the owner.
By professional measures, on July 26, 2026, Road Traffic Police Team No. 7 identified the owner of the computer as Mr. N.Q. M (born in 1977, residing in Ha Dong ward, Hanoi) and invited him to the unit headquarters to receive the property back.
At the police station, Mr. M said that on July 15, he was moving on To Huu street to solve work. After returning, he discovered that the tablet had been lost but did not remember clearly where it was dropped. After many days of searching in vain, he was very surprised to receive a call from the Traffic Police force.
According to Mr. M, the computer is not only valuable in terms of property but also stores many important documents and data for work. Receiving back the intact property, he emotionally thanked the people for not hesitating to hand over the found property and thanked the officers and soldiers of Road Traffic Police Team No. 7 for enthusiastically verifying and contacting to return it. He also wrote a thank you letter to the unit.

Representatives of the Command of Road Traffic Police Team No. 7 said that each found property is associated with the values and worries of the loser. Therefore, whether it is a phone, wallet or computer, officers and soldiers of the unit try to verify, contact and return it as soon as possible.
These small actions contribute to spreading the beautiful image of the Capital Traffic Police force, and at the same time arouse the spirit of honesty and responsibility of the people when they are ready to hand over the stolen property to return it to the right owners.
