On December 23, Tan Ninh Ward Police (Tay Ninh Province) supported Mr. Luu Minh Duc (25 years old, living in Quarter 20, Tan Ninh Ward) to verify and return the amount of 470 million VND that someone else had mistakenly transferred to his account.
Previously, on the afternoon of December 22, 2025, Mr. Duc suddenly received a large sum of money from a strange account. Realizing unusual signs, he proactively went to Tan Ninh Ward Police to report the incident, requesting verification support to return the money to the person who transferred the money by mistake.
Immediately after receiving the information, Tan Ninh Ward Police quickly reviewed, verified the transaction and clarified that the owner of the mistakenly transferred account was Ms. N.T.M.H (37 years old), residing in Hau Nghia commune, Tay Ninh province.
The police force contacted Ms. H and at the same time instructed and supported both sides to complete the necessary procedures, ensuring the full refund in accordance with regulations.
