Quang Tri - Picking up 350 million VND, a resident handed it over to Truong Phu commune police to return it to the person who dropped it.

On April 17, Truong Phu Commune Police (Quang Tri province) said that the unit had just received and returned lost property with a large amount of money and many important documents to people.

At about 3 pm on April 15, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hung (born in 1987, residing in Dong Thuan ward, Quang Tri province) while moving from Tam Huong village intersection to Xuan Lai village intersection, Truong Phu commune, unfortunately dropped a backpack. Inside was 350 million VND and many personal papers.

On April 16, Mr. Hoang Huy Nguyen (born in 1996, residing in Thach Ban village, Truong Phu commune) while jogging in this area discovered a black briefcase, inside which were cash and papers in the name of Mr. Hung. Recognizing that this was property dropped by someone else, Mr. Nguyen quickly brought it to Truong Phu Commune Police to hand it over.

Immediately after receiving it, Truong Phu Commune Police urgently verified, contacted and returned all assets to Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hung.

Receiving the intact property back, Mr. Hung expressed his emotion and sent a thank-you letter to Mr. Hoang Huy Nguyen and the Truong Phu Commune Police force for their timely help.

Through the incident, Truong Phu Commune Police recommends that people need to raise awareness of preserving personal property when participating in traffic and activities, to avoid unfortunate incidents.
