At about 12:30 pm on April 3, while moving in the Cam Khe A residential group area, Tu Minh ward, Hai Phong city, two students Do Khanh Lam and Nguyen Danh Tung (both born in 2013, 7G grade students of Tu Minh Secondary School) picked up a mobile phone dropped by a resident on the road. Immediately after that, the two students proactively brought the property to the Tu Minh Ward Police headquarters to report and hand it over, with the desire to ask the Police force to verify and return it to the person who lost it.
After receiving it, Tu Minh Ward Police quickly deployed measures to verify the owner information. Through comparison, functional forces identified the owner of the phone as Mr. Tran Van Yen (born in 1981, residing in Le Thanh Nghi ward, Hai Phong).
The ward police contacted and organized the handover of the property to Mr. Tran Van Yen at the headquarters. Receiving the phone back, Mr. Yen expressed his emotion and sent his deep thanks for the honest actions of the two students as well as the sense of responsibility of the grassroots police force. The actions of the two students are a bright example of honesty, contributing to spreading good moral values among students and the community.
