On July 20, at Rach Gia Ward Police, An Giang province, Ms. Nguyen Kieu Oanh, a teacher at My Lam Secondary School, and ward police officers returned more than 50 million VND to Ms. Nguyen Truc Giang (born in 1980, residing in Rach Gia ward), who dropped the above amount of money.
Previously, at about 7 pm on July 19, while traveling on Le Thi Hong Gam street, Rach Gia ward, Ms. Nguyen Kieu Oanh discovered a black package falling on the side of the road. Stopping to check, she saw inside a large amount of cash with many different denominations.
Without hesitation, she brought the entire amount of money to Rach Gia Ward Police to report, requesting the Ward Police force to support verification to find and return it to the person who lost it. Through counting, the total amount of money in the package was more than 50 million VND.
Not only handing over assets to the police agency, Ms. Oanh also actively posted information on social networking sites, hoping the community would support finding the owner of the money. That dedication and responsibility has contributed to helping verification to take place quickly and effectively.

On July 20, after learning that someone had picked up the money she had dropped and was trying to return it, Ms. Nguyen Truc Giang contacted the Rach Gia Ward Police to carry out procedures to receive the property back.
Receiving the full amount of money lost, Ms. Giang could not hide her emotion and sent sincere thanks to teacher Oanh for her noble gesture. At the same time, she expressed her appreciation for the spirit of responsibility of officers and soldiers of Rach Gia Ward Police in quickly verifying and supporting the return of property to the people.
