Lam Dong - A poor worker far from home who passed away in Truong Xuan commune has been donated by the community to support funding to take him back to his hometown for funeral arrangements.

Mr. H.V.T (36 years old), from Quang Ngai province, passed away due to a stroke while working as a hired laborer in Truong Xuan commune. About two months before that, Mr. T left his hometown to Lam Dong to work seasonally to cover family expenses.

According to relatives, Mr. T's family is in particularly difficult circumstances. In his hometown, his parents are old, his wife has no stable job and takes care of three young children who are of school age alone.

During his time working in Truong Xuan commune, Mr. T worked as a coffee picker, then switched to picking pepper to earn extra income to send back to his hometown.

While working, Mr. T suddenly suffered a stroke and passed away, causing the family to be confused, unable to afford funeral expenses as well as bring the coffin back to his hometown for burial.

Faced with the above situation, Mr. Dao Van Long, Head of Dak Song Voluntary Blood Donation Club, stood up to connect and call on philanthropists and the community to join hands to support and donate.

In just a short time, the call received positive response, with a total donation of 68.3 million VND. This amount has been transferred to Mr. T's family to take care of the funeral and funeral expenses to bring the coffin back to his hometown.

The timely joining hands of the community helped Mr. T's family overcome the painful time and bring him back to his hometown to rest in peace soon.
