On February 23, information from An Khe Ward Police (Da Nang City), this unit coordinated with Mr. Phan Quang Nghia Hau (driver of Tien Sa taxi company) to carry out procedures to return the amount of 10,600,000 VND to Mr. Do Van Dong (resident in the locality).
Previously, Mr. Hau drove a taxi with license plate 43H-100. 19 carrying passenger Mr. Do Van Dong from Ton Dan street to Hoa Xuan ward area. When the journey ended, the actual fare for the trip was 106,000 VND. However, Mr. Dong carelessly translated the wrong amount of money up to 10,600,000 VND into Mr. Hau's account.
Detecting unusual balance fluctuations, Mr. Hau tried to contact Mr. Dong to inform him but was unsuccessful. Immediately after that, the male driver went to the An Khe Ward Police headquarters to report the incident and asked the functional forces to verify and find the owner of the above amount of money.
Upon receiving the information, An Khe Ward Police quickly verified and contacted Mr. Do Van Dong. Under the witness of the police agency, Mr. Hau handed over the entire amount of money mistakenly transferred to the passenger.
