In the process of supporting people to overcome the consequences of floods at the new market in Trung Luong 1 village, Tuy An Tay commune, Sergeant Tran Van Nguyen - soldier of Platoon 1, Company of Point 100, Regiment 38 - picked up a handbag containing 4 million VND and immediately reported to find the person who dropped it.

Previously, on November 29, while cleaning up the pile of garbage and mud after the flash flood, Sergeant Nguyen discovered a brown leather handbag lying in the corner of the table in the market area.

He immediately reported to Captain Trinh Thai Son - Political Commissar of the Company in charge of the scene.

After checking, inside the bag were 8 bills worth VND500,000, a total of VND4 million, but without identification documents or identification information.

The unit commander then coordinated with the local authorities to make a record, hand over the handbag to Tuy An Tay Commune Police and requested a public announcement to find the owner.

The act of picking up lost property and returning it to the owner of Sergeant Tran Van Nguyen is considered by the people to be a beautiful gesture, demonstrating the spirit of "Serving the People" and the noble qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers while helping people overcome difficulties after natural disasters.
