In Tan Thuan hamlet, Hoa Binh commune, Vinh Long province, the "Loving Lottery Ticket" model is receiving positive response from local people. In less than two hours of opening for sale, all 300 lottery tickets were sold out.
Mr. Dinh Van Giau - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Binh commune, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the commune - said that the lottery ticket sales point is organized on Saturdays every week to raise funds to support students in difficult circumstances in the area.
According to Mr. Giau, after each ticket sale, the organizing committee will directly visit and give gifts to poor students, contributing to encouraging morale and adding learning conditions. The activity is small but has profound humanistic meaning for the locality.
If the model continues to bring practical efficiency and receives the consensus of the people, Hoa Binh commune will study expanding more sales points, and at the same time increase the number of lottery tickets issued to have more funding to help disadvantaged students.
N.H. Tr, a 1st grade student at Thoi Hoa A Primary School, happily said that she was very touched to receive the concern of local aunts and uncles. She was supported with cash, rice and noodles, helping her family reduce some difficulties in life.
Not only contributing to material support for poor students, the "Loving Digital Ticket" model also spreads the spirit of mutual affection, connecting sharing in the community.
From small lottery tickets, many difficult circumstances are being given more faith and hope on their learning journey.
