    Hanoi - The Thuy Phuong canal renovation project is entering the water receding phase, aiming to solve the prolonged flooding situation in many urban areas in the Northwest of the Capital.

    Tại khu vực trạm bơm đầu mối Thụy Phương, trạm bơm cũ đã được tháo dỡ hoàn toàn để nhường chỗ cho hệ thống trạm bơm mới. Nhiều công nhân cùng máy móc, thiết bị được huy động liên tục để đẩy nhanh tiến độ thi công.

    Theo thiết kế, trạm bơm mới sẽ được lắp đặt 4 tổ máy bơm, bảo đảm bổ cập nước ổn định cho sông Tô Lịch với lưu lượng khoảng 5m3/giây. Đây là hạng mục quan trọng của dự án, có nhiệm vụ điều tiết và phân dòng nước từ sông Hồng trước khi dẫn vào hệ thống kênh, đưa nước về sông Tô Lịch.
    According to the design, the new pumping station will be equipped with 4 pump units, ensuring stable water supply for the To Lich River with a flow rate of about 5m3/second. This is an important item of the project, with the task of regulating and dividing water flow from the Red River before leading into the canal system, bringing water to the To Lich River.
    Dự án gồm hai hạng mục chính là tuyến kênh dẫn từ Thụy Phương đến đường Phạm Văn Đồng và tuyến cống ngầm từ khu vực Hoàng Minh Thảo - Võ Chí Công dẫn nước ra sông Tô Lịch. Tổng chiều dài toàn tuyến khoảng 7km, trong đó khoảng 3km là kênh hở, phần còn lại được xây dựng dưới dạng cống ngầm.
    The project includes two main items: the canal leading from Thuy Phuong to Pham Van Dong street and the underground culvert from Hoang Minh Thao - Vo Chi Cong area leading water to To Lich river. The total length of the entire route is about 7km, of which about 3km is open canal, the rest is built in the form of an underground culvert.
    Đối với tuyến cống ngầm dài gần 4km dọc các tuyến đường Hoàng Minh Thảo và Võ Chí Công, nhà thầu áp dụng phương án thi công cuốn chiếu. Việc đào hố, lắp đặt cống, hoàn trả mặt bằng được thực hiện tuần tự nhằm hạn chế tối đa ảnh hưởng đến giao thông và đời sống người dân.
    For the nearly 4km long underground culvert along Hoang Minh Thao and Vo Chi Cong streets, the contractor applies a rolling construction plan. The excavation of pits, installation of culverts, and site clearance are carried out sequentially to minimize the impact on traffic and people's lives.
    Hiện trên đường Hoàng Minh Thảo, các hạng mục cuối cùng cũng đang được gấp rút hoàn thiện.

    Đáng chú ý, tại đoạn kênh đi qua ngõ 104 Thụy Phương, đơn vị thi công tổ chức nhiều mũi thi công song song nhằm đẩy nhanh tiến độ và tăng khả năng tiêu thoát nước cho khu vực.
    Notably, at the canal section passing through lane 104 Thuy Phuong, the construction unit organized many parallel construction teams to speed up progress and increase drainage capacity for the area.
    Người dân sinh sống tại đây cho biết nhiều năm qua, ngõ 104 Thụy Phương thường xuyên xảy ra ngập úng mỗi khi xuất hiện mưa lớn do hệ thống thoát nước quá tải. Tình trạng này gây nhiều khó khăn cho việc đi lại và sinh hoạt của người dân.
    Residents living here said that for many years, lane 104 Thuy Phuong has been frequently flooded every time heavy rain occurs due to the overloaded drainage system. This situation causes many difficulties for people's travel and daily life.
    Ông Lê Quốc Trung, cư dân ngõ 104 Thụy Phương, chia sẻ: “Những ngày qua, công nhân và máy móc làm việc liên tục. Người dân rất kỳ vọng sau khi dự án hoàn thành, tình trạng ngập úng kéo dài nhiều năm tại khu vực sẽ được khắc phục”.
    Mr. Le Quoc Trung, a resident of alley 104 Thuy Phuong, shared: "In recent days, workers and machinery have been working continuously. People are very hopeful that after the project is completed, the prolonged flooding situation in the area will be overcome.
    Thông tin về dự án, ông Nguyễn Huy Hải, Phó Trưởng phòng Quản lý Dự án cấp thoát nước (Ban Quản lý dự án đầu tư xây dựng công trình hạ tầng kỹ thuật và nông nghiệp thành phố Hà Nội), cho biết các đơn vị thi công sẽ tập trung thực hiện nốt phần việc còn lại, bảo đảm hoàn thành dự án đúng tiến độ mà thành phố đề ra.
    The project to invest in the construction of urgent works to renovate the Thuy Phuong canal route has been approved by the Hanoi City People's Committee from February 9, 2026 and is expected to be completed before June 30, 2026 according to the direction of the City Party Committee and Hanoi City People's Committee.
