General Secretary and President To Lam listens and shares with workers

Ngày 27.4, nhân kỷ niệm 51 năm Ngày Giải phóng miền Nam, thống nhất đất nước (30-4-1975 – 30-4-2026) và 140 năm Ngày Quốc tế lao động (1-5-1886 - 1-5-2026), Tổng Bí thư, Chủ tịch nước Tô Lâm cùng Đoàn công tác Trung ương đã đến thăm, động viên công nhân, người dân đang sinh sống tại khu nhà ở xã hội (NƠXH) Becamex Định Hòa.

On April 27, on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South, national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026) and the 140th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2026), General Secretary and President To Lam and the Central Working Delegation visited and encouraged workers and people living in the Becamex Dinh Hoa social housing (NƠXH) area, Chanh Hiep ward, Ho Chi Minh City. Also attending were comrades: Politburo members, Secretariat members, Central Party members, Party and State leaders, Vietnam Fatherland Front, leaders of ministries, branches, central and Ho Chi Minh City organizations.

Và gần 300 đoàn viên, người lao động ở TPHCM.

Nearly 300 union members and workers in Ho Chi Minh City participated in the program.

Phát biểu mở đầu buổi gặp mặt, Chủ tịch Tổng Liên đoàn Lao động Việt Nam khẳng định trước yêu cầu mới, tổ chức Công đoàn sẽ coi người lao động là trung tâm của mọi kế hoạch hoạt động. Trọng tâm sắp tới là hình thành các chương trình phúc lợi dài hạn, ứng dụng chuyển đổi số và quản lý tài chính công đoàn minh bạch, hiệu quả để mang lại lợi ích thiết thực nhất cho đoàn viên.

Speaking at the opening of the program, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor affirmed that in the face of new requirements, the Trade Union organization always considers workers as the center of all operating plans. The focus in the near future is to form long-term welfare programs, apply digital transformation and transparent and effective trade union financial management to bring the most practical benefits to union members.

Đại diện cho tiếng nói người thợ, công nhân Lưu Văn Nhiệm mạnh dạn đề xuất Đảng, Nhà nước nghiên cứu xây dựng cơ chế hỗ trợ nguồn lực cho các sáng kiến ngay tại doanh nghiệp. Anh chia sẻ, trước áp lực về chi phí nhân công và yêu cầu nâng cao năng suất để cạnh tranh ngày càng lớn , việc có thêm nguồn lực hỗ trợ sẽ tạo động lực mạnh mẽ để công nhân vượt qua khó khăn về điều kiện học tập, khơi dậy tinh thần sáng tạo từ những cải tiến nhỏ nhưng có giá trị ứng dụng cao, giúp doanh nghiệp phát triển bền vững.

Representing workers present at the program, Mr. Luu Van Nhiem, working at Saigon Stec Co., Ltd., boldly proposed that the Party and State study and build a mechanism to support resources for initiatives right at the enterprise. Mr. Nhiem shared that, before the pressure of labor costs and the increasing requirement to improve productivity for increasing competition, having more support resources will create strong motivation for workers to overcome difficulties in learning conditions, and arouse creative spirit from small but highly applicable improvements, helping businesses develop sustainably.

Mang trong mình căn bệnh hiểm nghèo từ năm 2015, công nhân Huỳnh Thị Lý thiết tha mong mỏi Nhà nước và cơ quan Bảo hiểm mở rộng phạm vi chi trả đối với các bệnh nặng, điều trị dài ngày để công nhân bớt khó khăn. Chị cũng kính mong Tổng Bí thư quan tâm xây thêm nhiều nhà ở xã hội gần khu công nghiệp cho công nhân thuê, cùng với trường học và nơi khám chữa bệnh thuận tiện

Worker Huynh Thi Ly, Yazaki EDS Vietnam Company hopes that the State and the Insurance agency will expand the scope of payment for serious illnesses and long-term treatment to reduce difficulties for workers. Ms. Ly also proposed building more social housing near industrial parks for workers to rent, along with schools and convenient medical examination and treatment places.

Lắng nghe kỹ lưỡng từng ý kiến, Tổng Bí thư, Chủ tịch nước Tô Lâm phát biểu nhấn mạnh: phải nhìn thẳng vào khó khăn của người lao động và giải quyết bằng trách nhiệm, tình thương. Đồng chí yêu cầu các cấp chú trọng tạo ra việc làm ổn định, hướng tới mức lương đảm bảo được cuộc sống và đẩy mạnh xây dựng nhà ở xã hội để công nhân thực sự an cư. After listening to and understanding each thought and aspiration of workers and laborers, General Secretary and President To Lam emphasized that caring for the lives of workers is a key political task. General Secretary and President To Lam directed to ensure comprehensive social security for workers to "settle down and work", and at the same time build Trade Unions to truly be a "warm home", always standing side by side to protect the rights and be a reliable support for workers in all circumstances.

Closing the meeting, General Secretary and President To Lam directly visited and presented meaningful gifts on the occasion of April 30 and May 1 to workers and laborers.
