On the afternoon of August 1, the City Party Committee of Bao Loc city, Lam Dong province held the 27th Conference of the City Party Executive Committee. The conference agreed to approve the policy of planning new residential and resettlement areas to distribute immigration to serve the expressway project.
The Bao Loc - Lien Khuong expressway project and the Tan Phu - Bao Loc expressway project are two of the key national projects.
The Bao Loc - Lien Khuong project passes through Bao Loc city and Bao Lam, Di Linh, and Duc Trong districts. The project is expected to contribute to promoting the socio-economic development of Lam Dong province, while connecting the Central Highlands region with the Southeast provinces more conveniently.
Previously, the residential and resettlement area planning to serve these two expressway projects was located on Nguyen Thai Binh street (Loc Phat ward, Bao Loc city) within the planning boundary for exploration, exploitation, processing and Use of minerals in the period 2021 - 2030 with a vision to 2050 has been approved by the Prime Minister.
The land area overlaps with mineral planning and has not been inspected, reviewed, and approved in writing by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
Therefore, Bao Loc City authorities must search and plan residential areas and resettlement in a new location, located on Ly Thuong Kiet Street (Loc Phat ward). This land belongs to the land area recovered by Southern Basic Chemicals Joint Stock Company.
The new land area has an area of about 23.1 hectares managed by the State. With the agreement on policies, Bao Loc City People's Committee will complete documents, procedures and prepare detailed planning 1/500 according to regulations.
Thereby, Bao Loc City arranged resettlement land for households whose land was recovered to serve the expressway project in the near future.
