The National Assembly Chairman said that this event affirmed the responsibility of the Vietnam Trade Union in participating in building a clean and strong Party and political system.
The responsibility of the Trade Union organization in building a clean and strong Party and political system is reflected in many different aspects.
But the most accurate and specific calculation is that in the past 10 years alone, the Trade Union organization nationwide has discovered, trained and introduced more than 675,000 outstanding union members to be honored to be in the ranks of the Party, accounting for 12.05% of the total number of party members in the entire Party.
This is the result of many activities, accompanying practical programs, promoting workers to increase productivity, building a civilized labor culture... to create prestige and trust of the Trade Union organization in the enterprise in developing workers' party members and the activities of Party organizations in enterprises.
However, in developing Party members as well as the activities of Party organizations in enterprises, especially FDI enterprises, there have been many difficulties and inadequacies in the past, which need to be resolved soon.
Therefore, the organization of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for the forum "Striving to be worthy of being a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam" as well as honoring 95 outstanding workers' party members for the first time - in 2025 is a very meaningful, timely and practical activity.
This is not only an opportunity for workers' Party members to exchange and share experiences in the process of striving, cultivating, training to become Party members and strive to become exemplary workers' Party members.
This series of events is also an opportunity to clarify difficulties and inadequacies and propose solutions to overcome them, contributing to improving the effectiveness of developing party members among workers and improving the quality of party members, meeting the requirements of the new situation.
If the difficulties in developing the Party organization in enterprises are gradually resolved, there will certainly be more Party members and workers admitted in the coming time, contributing to fostering political strength, improving the quality of human resources and fostering the aspiration for national development.
