79 years ago, during the hour of national dedication, President Ho Chi Minh issued the Appeal to the Whole Land of Resistance - a congratulatory message, calling for the strength of national solidarity to realize the aspiration for independence, freedom and national development.
And on December 19, 2025, the whole country simultaneously started construction and inaugurated 234 projects, with a total capital of 3.4 million billion VND. This is not just a simple economic - investment event, but a highlight in development management, where economic, political and social goals are placed in the same strategic decision, to create motivation, inspire and new momentum for the economy.
234 projects and works are deployed across the country, spanning many key areas, clearly demonstrating Vietnam's determination to prepare for a new growth cycle. With the goal of sustainable development, determined to innovate the growth model, taking digital transformation, green transformation and the knowledge economy as strategic pillars, to create double-digit growth momentum in the following years.
Of the projects that were started and inaugurated, there are 38 projects of central ministries and branches; 39 projects of corporations and general companies; and 157 projects invested by localities. That figure shows the convergence of power from many levels, many sectors, many regions in the economy - from public investment to the increasingly strong participation of the private sector.
Many "unprecedented" records in progress have been established on the foundation of high political determination, tireless perseverance and a spirit of dedication to the common interests of the country. From the "500-day and night expressway campaign", construction sites are lit up all night, to the consensus of the entire people in mobilizing and effectively using resources.
However, for projects to truly become a boost for growth, the requirement is to ensure progress, quality and efficiency. In reality, there have been many lessons about the waste of resources when projects are behind schedule, procedures are prolonged, and lack of smoothness, causing businesses to "hold" capital and miss development opportunities.
To do this, it is necessary to resolutely remove bottlenecks in procedures and site clearance; strengthen discipline and order in public investment; link the responsibility of the head with the progress and efficiency of the project. At the same time, strengthen supervision and prevent loss and waste.
There are moments in history when every movement seems to converge to open a new chapter. From the indomitable spirit of the International Resistance Call in the past to the spirit of starting hundreds of projects today, it is a continuous mach for the aspiration for independence, self-reliance and strong development.
With high political determination, the consensus of the entire people and the effective promotion of all resources, Vietnam is facing the opportunity to make a breakthrough, entering a new era - where each project is not only a material infrastructure, but also a symbol of the will, faith and bravery of Vietnam.
