On December 16, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended and gave a speech at the Vietnam Economic Forum 2025, 2026 prospects (VEPF) with the theme "Vietnam's economy develops rapidly, sustainably, green transformation in the digital era".

According to information from the organizing committee, the VEPF 2025 Annual Forum will take place on December 16, 2025, including 2 thematic sessions and 1 plenary session.
The Finance - Banking session focused on the theme " Mobilizing and effectively using financial resources for economic growth goals for the period 2026-2030). Accordingly, the main groups of issues were mentioned, discussed, and analyzed to clarify: Capital demand for double-digit growth in the 2026-2030 period; access and mobilization of resources; effective use and risk management of capital sources.
The seminar on Circular Economy and Green Transformation focused on reflecting the practical application of the circular economic model in sectors and economic fields. Identify and evaluate the advantages in the process of implementing green transformation, applying a circular economy as well as barriers in policies, resources, management capacity and implementing model applications through sharing practical experience of corporations, businesses and localities.
The high-level forum with the theme "Vietnam's economy develops rapidly, sustainably, green transformation in the digital age" attracted the attention of many embassies, international organizations, foreign business associations, industry associations and domestic business associations, leaders of Vietnamese corporations, enterprises and FDI enterprises.

The main presentation reports of the forum have compiled and analyzed important, fundamental and core information of the Vietnamese economy in the period of 2021-2025 in correlation with the regional and world economic context. Commentations on the international context, analyzing Vietnam's comparative advantages, thereby identifying opportunities and challenges for an economy with large trade openness like Vietnam.
Many domestic and foreign scholars and leaders of ministries and branches have shared the same assessment: Practical requirements require Vietnam to move to a new growth model, based on science, technology and innovation, creating a foundation for double-digit growth in the coming years, aiming to become a developing country with modern industry, high average income by 2030 and high-income country by 2045.
The opinions also raised urgent requirements that Vietnam must meet, both in terms of policy mechanisms, financial resources, capacity to apply and develop science and technology and the ability to manage investment and development of economic entities, especially the domestic business sector.
The seminar received nearly 20 suggestions from leaders of corporations, businesses, associations and domestic and international experts on economy, technology and sustainable development. The suggestions all focus on quickly institutionalizing and concretizing mechanisms and policies from major resolutions issued in recent times, while creating new mechanisms to promote expanding investment and development space for domestic enterprises and foreign investors.
