Vietnam is not a rich country, but still implements the policy of free general education like advanced countries, "Education is a national policy" demonstrated by specific actions and actions.
Children of school age are all able to go to school and enjoy the same education policies. The State builds schools, equips facilities, pays teachers' salaries, they study hard, and become useful people for their families and society.
For poor families and workers who are still in difficulty, exempting tuition fees is another opportunity for their children to go to school. In fact, many children are out of school because their families do not have money to pay tuition fees, the new policy will help them continue to go to school, minimizing the situation of children being out of school. They themselves will have more hope for the future.
Not only for students in the public school system, according to the press release of the Ministry of Education and Training, this ministry also proposes: "Students in private and public schools are provided with tuition compensation equal to the tuition fees of public schools according to the provisions of law; the tuition difference between public and private and private schools will be paid by students' families".
Parents with children studying at private and public schools pay high tuition fees, the compensation level according to the State level is not much compared to the total cost of private schools, but that compensation level has great spiritual value. Parents and students studying in non-public schools do not see discrimination, and if they are students, they will be given the same care in their studies.
Therefore, localities need to balance budget sources to support and implement policies on exemption and reduction of tuition fees for general education and public students in the form of tuition compensation so that all students enjoy the same policy.
In the future, students will not only be exempted from tuition fees, but the school will also eliminate fees other than tuition fees to reduce the burden on parents. That is what the whole society is waiting for.
