Breaking fake news about hundreds of deaths in Hoa Thinh is unjust and violates the law

The flood center of Hoa Thinh is experiencing many coffins donated by benefactors when hearing the fake news that many people in this locality have died due to floods.

On the afternoon of November 26, Mr. Ta Tan Cong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Thinh Commune (Dak Lak) said that he had sent an unused coffin to the pagoda.

Venerable Thich Thien Dao, abbot of Phi Lai Pagoda, said that the pagoda is holding 17 coffins brought to Hoa Thinh commune during this flood.

The reason for the surplus coffin is that previously, some people spread false information that hundreds of people in Hoa Thinh commune died due to floods, so many benefactors supported coffins to bury them.

But in reality, in Hoa Thinh commune, only 25 people died and have been buried, so no one has received the remaining coffins, only temporarily depositing them in the pagoda.

Many goods and food were sent, people put them back in and used them later, no one dared to take the coffin home, only the pagoda was a place that could be temporarily kept without being held back.

However, the pagoda does not have enough space to store many coffins, so it cannot accept more.

"These days, many people have called the pagoda to send coffins to support the people. However, the pagoda refused and hoped that benefactors, if possible, would support the necessities of blankets, medicine, rice..., Venerable Thich Thien Dao said.

When fabricated news about hundreds of dead people in Hoa Thinh commune was posted on social networks, many people did not believe it but many people also thought that the government was hiding the number of dead.

However, few people are willing to carefully think about how many people died in a commune due to floods. People know that even if they are in a commune, they cannot hide anything.

But many people still listen to fabricated news, sharing on social networks, one for ten, one for ten, one for a hundred, so the benefactors sympathize and support the coffin to bring to Hoa Thinh commune.

Up to now, the remaining coffins being sent to the pagoda are the answer that there are no hundreds of people dying from floods in Hoa Thinh commune.

Those who have spread fake news about hundreds of deaths in Hoa Thinh commune have found that they have done an unethical act, violating the law, causing public panic while people in flooded areas are struggling with difficulties and different forces are fighting to save people.

Not only causing confusion, but also causing damage.

Because, philanthropists spend money, put in effort to buy and transport coffins, while that money can be used to help people in flooded areas do more practical and effective things.

For many years, every time a natural disaster comes, the Vietnamese people always cover up each other, the tradition of "loving others as you love yourself" has existed forever in this homeland.

Promote that good tradition through meaningful actions and valuable contributions. If you can't do anything useful, at least don't post or share fabricated information that causes social disorder.
