Weight loss is a long, challenging and turbulent journey, where you experience both victory and failure.
According to fitness trainer Raj Ganpath - founder of Slow Burn Method, co-founder and head coach at Quad Fitness, the secret to sustainable weight loss is not diet or exercise, but thinking.
Dr. Raj ganpath pointed out three cognitive changes that help you achieve real results and maintain an ideal weight.
1. Feeling fine with a little hunger
To lose weight, you need to create a calorie deficit, which means eating less than your body consumes.
Youre going to feel hungry for a few hours a day, and thats completely normal, Raj explained. If you panic and compensate, you will break the calorie deficit. Learn to accept mild hunger as part of the process.
2. Feeling fine when eating the same food
According to Raj, eating a variety of foods can be fun but can also easily distract you from your weight loss journey.
"Many athletes and celebrities often repeat a few fixed dishes every day. This reduces the risk of mistakes and helps you maintain a stable calorie intake, said Mr. Raj Ganpath.
Consistency helps reduce Choice Pressure and keep the body in a better state of energy control.
3. Feeling fine when trying continuously
Raj emphasized that the weight loss process never takes place in a linear manner.
The weight will not decrease evenly every day or every week. It will slow down at times, but if you continue to persevere, the weight loss curve will gradually decrease, said Mr. Raj ganpath.
Maintaining efforts regardless of immediate results is the decisive factor.
According to Raj ganpath, when you learn to endure, accept and persevere, the weight loss journey will become easier to control, not only helping to change the body but also the mindset of a healthy long-term life.
