HCMC - Doctor Tran Thanh Trai passed away in the early morning of May 31, at the age of 88.

On May 31, speaking with Lao Dong Newspaper, the leader of Children's Hospital 1 confirmed that Dr. Tran Thanh Trai passed away at 4:20 a.m. on May 31.

Doctor Tran Thanh Trai will live to be 88 years old (born in 1938). He has been involved in the field of pediatric surgery for many years, and is associated with the development of the Ho Chi Minh City medical industry.

He is the former head of the Foreign Affairs Hospital of Children's Hospital 1, former Head of the Department of Pediatrics of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, former head of the Department of Pediatrics of Pham Ngoc Thach Medical University, former Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City Pediatric Association, former National Assembly, former delegate of Ho Chi Minh City People's Council 1992 - 1996.
