Initial information, at around 5:20 a.m. the same day, Ms. Hoang Thi N (born in 1977, residing in Tan Vinh commune) was driving a motorbike with license plate 28H1-668.75, carrying Ms. Nguyen Thi T (born in 1987, residing in Suoi Co hamlet, Cao Son commune), traveling on DH02 road in the direction of Cao Son - Tan Vinh.
Due to light rain and slippery road surface, when reaching the section passing through Dam Da village, the motorbike suddenly slipped, and both of them fell onto the road.
At the same time, a tractor trailer with license plate 29LD-314.57 towing a trailer 29R-072.15 driven by Nguyen Van L (born in 1974, residing in Hanoi) from behind, unable to handle it, ran over the person sitting behind.
The accident caused Ms. Nguyen Thi T to die on the spot. Ms. Hoang Thi N was seriously injured and was taken to the Luong Son District Medical Center for emergency treatment by local residents in a state of multiple injuries.
Immediately after the incident, the police force of Luong Son district and the authorities of Cao Son commune were present at the scene to protect, direct traffic and coordinate the investigation of the cause of the accident.
It is known that the road where the accident occurred is an inter-commune traffic route, the road surface is narrow, many sections are degraded and slippery when it rains.
The specific cause is currently being further clarified by the authorities.
